PacsoftMMS installed at Royal Clarence Marina 12/11/2003
Royal Clarence Marina - Gosport, United Kingdom"Royal Clarence Marina is delighted to become the first marina in the United Kingdom to install and operate PacsoftMMS created by Pacsoft International Ltd based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Whilst there were a number of established alternative systems available in the UK, PacsoftMMS was by far the most developed yet flexible software package that we researched. Ease of use, the range of modules, and the accounting features, notably debtor management, was a key attraction for us, together with a flexible customer management interface. We now have a comprehensive marina management system that will truly support our growing business well into the future.

We were particularly impressed with many of the automated functions within the software. For example, many of the invoicing routines are automatic, such as monthly berthing and electricity invoicing; and reminders for expiring berth rentals can be generated. This reduces the administration burden in managing the marina, and allows us to focus our time on other areas of the business.

Pacsoft have written the system utilising Microsoft technology, and they work closely with Microsoft in developing the system. With the use of Microsoft SQL Server providing a reliable and robust database, we have a future proof solution that can be relied upon to cater for our marina operations.

Pacsoft International Ltd's headquarters is in New Zealand, so it was vital for us to have a UK based company to provide MMS support. This key requirement has been catered for by the agreement that Ocean Road has with Pacsoft for sales, support and consultancy services in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

If you are looking for a system to support your marina business, or are struggling with your current system, then we have no hesitation in recommending Pacsoft MMS.
